I've thought a lot about which manouvres to select, when to drop the low level ones and so on (I'll be focusing on Diamond Mind with some Stone Dragon and Iron Heart thrown in when there's nothing fun to take from DM), but I'm somewhat uncertain which powers to take, so I came here. My teammates will most likely be a cleric//crusader and a rogue//swordsage. The combo is just too delicious to skip, after I saw it mentioned on some gestalt thread a few weeks ago. I've already decided that I'll be playing a Psion//Warblade. Basically, an no-gates barred high powered game before 4th Edition comes 'round. We're gonna try gestalt rules for the first time, along with allowing a lot of new books (including XPH and ToB) into our game. I've prioritized Powers that are either Immidiate/Swift or that grants actions - such as Hustle, Anticipatory Strike, Temporal Acceleration and Fission. In February, I'll be starting a new campaign.Do I need all of these or are there unnessessary overlaps? I've got a lot of defensive powers - Energy Adaptation, Intellect Fortress, Power Resistance, Inertial Armor, Vigor, Share Pain.I only have two blasting spells, Crystalstorm and Disintergrate.I only have Dimension Door for magical movement. Here's what I have:ġ: Entangling Ectoplasm Inertial Armor, Vigor, Offensive Precognition, n/aĢ: Crystalstorm, Energy Adaptation (Specified), Share Pain, Empathic Transferģ: Dispel Psionics, Time Hop, Touchsight, HustleĤ: Metamorphosis, Dimesion Door (Psionic), Freedom of Movement (Psionic), Intellect Fortressĥ: Anticipatory Strike, Major Creation (Psionic), Power ResistanceĦ: Contingency (Psionic), Disintergrate (Psionic), Temporal Acceleration NOW, I've never played a Psion before and I've got a lot of trouble picking the right powers. Higher level Warblade-maneuvers like Time Stands Still and Raging Mongoose works great while metamorphed, fused and the like. Higher Levels: Powers keep getting better, we've grabbed Quicken and Twinned for some additional blasting power. With Metamorphic Transfer attacking while metamorphed should be a breeze, grabbing some form with a good Special Ability and good physical stats. Mid Levels: The big boost here is Metamorphisis - giving me the stats I need to be a real threat in melee. Refresh Deep Impact using a maneuver combined with Instant Clairity. Stats: 83 points total, I'm thinking STR 13/DEX 12/CON 16/INT 18/WIS 12/CHA 12ġ: Psionic Weapon, Psicrystal Affinity (P), Extend Power (SH)Įarly Levels: Use Leap Attack and Deep Impact to make a melee touch attack.r/DnD /r/rpg /r/Pathfinder_RPG /r/tabletop /r/UnearthedArcana /r/DnDHomebrew /r/dndnext Flair Searchesĭ&D 5e 1D&D D&D 4e D&D v3.5 D&D 3e Pathfinder 1 Pathfinder 2 WOD PBTA Fate GURPS Universal Other r/characterdrawing /r/Imaginar圜haracters /r/alternativeart On-Topic Subreddits Abide by the Homebrew Content Guidelines.Don't just advertise things, even if they're relevant. If your post fits with a megathread, post there. ![]() ![]() Don't be excessively explicit or grotesque. The rules are explained in more detail here.
