She then went onto obtaining a comprehensive Pilates certification with Alan Herdman, the pioneer of Pilates in the UK, and Body Control Pilates® and she specialises in injury rehabilitation/ prevention and Pre/Post-partum.Įlena also has a 200hr Yoga teaching diploma obtained with Yogacampus in London, and she is also a qualified Relax and Renew ® and registered Restorative Yoga Teacher. In 2011 following a long-term injury, she decided to take a break from stage life, to focus on her own rehabilitation through Yoga and Pilates. She first moved to the UK in 2003 to pursue her career as a professional dancer at London Contemporary Dance School and later at Northern School of Contemporary Dance, in Leeds.Įlena had an exciting and fulfilling dance career touring nationally and internationally with several UK based dance companies and teaching and inspiring young professional dancers.
